Lia Chechelashvili - The main subject of my art has always been a human figure - the movement, expression, interaction of human forms. In 90’s and early 2000’s I executed my works mostly with white lines on dark background, using line as a minimalistic mean for delivering my thoughts and vision. My recent art (from 2006 till now) is a natural continuation of my line-works. I scan my drawings and then use different digital effects. This is why I call these works “digitally embellished drawings”.
